His picture books include "The Eensy Weensy Spider Freaks Out!," "More Bears!," and "Giddy-Up, Daddy!" The Notebook of Doom is his first early chapter book series. He lives in Indiana with his cat and family.

Hugely enjoyable books

This is our son's favorite book series. The original one not only had him hooked but turned him into a voracious reader. The books are smart, fun, and clever and leave out things that make parents cringe. He loves them so much that he created a birthday party theme around the books that was a blast. I highly recommend The Notebook of Doom to parents to start reading to your kids or as a great start into chapter books for them on their own.

We love these books at our house. My son started reading them when he was in second grade and they have become a favorite with all of our children. Even my one and three year olds sits and listens when we read them. They are not scary. They are clever and fun. I even enjoy them. The back days they appeal to first through third grade but I think it is more than that. They are easy enough for a first or second grader to read by themselves.

This is a great series of books and this one continued with the great line of characters, plot and more. while you might first think that this was scary with a title like it has, but do not be scared off by the title, as it actually is very fun-loving. Great Deal!

When I first decided to buy the Dictionary, and saw the price for a new one, I thought, Wow it would be a long time before I set aside enough money to buy one. Then I came to Amazon, and was shocked at the price. Then when I ordered it, I worried that the quality of a used book would be disappointing. I was wrong. Even though it has been a long time since I purchased this book, it is still in great shape, and we have read it, abused it, and it is still in great shape.Thanks for the great buy at a fraction of the price for new!

AS NEW...NOT EVEN CLOSE

Not as pictured. Not as described. Not pleased. There were a few listed from different sellers and I paid extra for this one because it was listed as AS NEW. This appeared to be a library book. It had a bar code sticker that someone tried to remove. The corners were taped. I will never buy from this seller again.
