Immediately Hooked!

I bought this book to research open relationships for a novel I'm writing. Just reading the introduction, I was hooked. I immediately felt a connection to this world and couldn't wait to read on. I just finished the third chapter and will likely be reading into the night. Well written, interesting... Great read so far!

I highly recomend this book for anyone who is even toying with the idea of this kind of relationship.

I originally purchased this book a few years ago when I first expressed an interest in a non-monogamous relationship. I had to put it aside for a couple of years when my partner finally expressed his lack of interest in that kind of lifestyle. Since then we have unfortunately parted ways and I found myself in two relationships. I let them know that this is what I wanted and dove head first back into this book. I found it helpful that for the vast majority of the book I couldn't figure out if the book was by a male or female, gay/lesbian, straight, queer, bi-sexual, or other. I think this made the book more accessible to a larger audience. I enjoyed that it was full of interviews that didn't necessarily say 'This is how you do it,' but rather 'This is what works for us.' I now have a greater understanding of what I want, what my limits are, how to understand and deal with mine and my partners' feelings, and especially the logistics of this kind of relationship.

Good book on Open Relationships

I am happy with new information that help me to understand how the polyamorous relationship work. Nice to know what can I do with the kind of relationship--like scheduling myself for some hours with each woman. Nice to know about the compersion and about what I do with the jealousy. I don't know what else to say about this book beside how much I appreciate and understand how it worked after I had encountered some polyamorous people. Now, I am very comfortable with the certain people without alienate their relationships with others than just a spouse. I recommend this to you if you are serious about getting into a polyamorous adventure, please buy this book and learn something new. That's all I can said about this book, thank you for reading my review.
