As a life-long procrastinator, I found this book refreshing and helpful!

I am a chronic, life-long procrastinator. It's always been a problem for me. This book helped me to realize that there are ways to combat this and reverse this behavior. It starts with breaking down the reasons behind why one became a procrastinator, how they are created rather than it being an innate condition, and how it makes us feel about ourselves. I never thought about the connection between my own anxiety and my procrastination until I read this, but it really makes perfect sense and explains so much. This book covers professional versus personal procrastination (yes, they are not the same!), how to create your own action plan to break your habits of putting things off, and staying focused on your plan to keep your proactive behaviors going, rather than falling back into the old procrastination loop many of us find ourselves in. Well written, very thorough, and very helpful for people like me that have known they had this problem, but kept putting off doing something about it (it's a vicious cycle!) Thanks to the author for this guide.

Helps you stop procrastinating.

Everyone procrastinates at some time in their life. As a working mom, I am certainly guilty as charged. I have spent many evenings cleaning the kitchen or folding the laundry instead of working on projects with looming deadlines. I thought of reading some books to help me understand better about this kind of behavior. There are many reasons why I, and others, procrastinate and understanding these reasons has given me a new perspective on how to put an end to procrastination. This is a very good book. The author shares his insight on procrastination including common reasons for procrastination and strategies to eliminate procrastination.

Scheduling your time reduces stress and releases energy. The very act of using your organizational skills to plan your day, week, and month gives you a greater feeling of control and will help increase productivity throughout your day. You’ll feel in charge of your life. It actually increases your self-esteem and improves your sense of personal power. This book gives you the impetus to get off the proverbial couch and start doing what you need to, and should be, doing. Very well written and highly recommended.
